Contact Kits for Contactors and Motor Starters
A contact kit replaces the main power contacts of a contactor or motor starter, the parts that wear each time the contactor makes and breaks load current. Fitting a kit renews the contacts without replacing the whole device. BRAH Electric lists more than 180 contact kits for Siemens, Furnas, Cutler-Hammer, Westinghouse, Square D, Allen-Bradley, General Electric, Telemecanique and ABB equipment, each cross-referenced to the OEM kit number it replaces. Listings show amperage, poles, family and type. Contact kits carry a 6-month warranty.
A part that replaces an OEM part number is listed under that number as well as under its BRAH part number, so the results count below can be higher than the number of parts.

Contact kits by starter family, size and poles
Overview
Coverage by family: Cutler-Hammer Citation Series A1 and B1 and Freedom Series; Westinghouse A200 Series and Advantage W200; Square D Class 9998; General Electric 200 Line and 300 Line; Allen-Bradley Bulletin 500 Line and Series K; Furnas Innova and the Furnas and Siemens 3TK and 3TC types; Siemens World Series and Sirius; Telemecanique TeSys F; and ABB A-Line and EH Series.
Most kits are 3-pole; 1-pole, 2-pole, 4-pole and 5-pole kits are also listed. Ratings start at 18A and most kits fall between 18A and 540A, with larger kits for the biggest contactors. Kits for NEMA rated starters are matched to the NEMA size as well as the amperage: for example a 27A kit for NEMA size 1, 45A for size 2, 90A for size 3 and 270A for size 5.
How do I choose a contact kit?
To choose, find the contactor or starter model and size on its nameplate and match the family, the amperage and the number of poles. The descriptions list the model types each kit fits and state that a kit includes the contacts with their mounting screws and hardware. Searching for the OEM kit number, such as 6-23-2, 9998SL-4, 546A780G002 or LA5FG431, is the most direct route. The 6-month warranty on contact kits runs from the date of invoice; other BRAH products carry 2 years.
