A closing coil, also called a closing release, closes a circuit breaker electrically: when the coil is energized it releases the stored-energy mechanism of the breaker, so the breaker can be closed from a remote switch or control system. BRAH Electric lists two closing coils, both direct substitutes for the Merlin Gerin XF-E closing release on Masterpact type MP insulated case circuit breakers rated 800A to 5000A. One is for 110/127VAC or 100/110VDC control power, the other for 220/250VAC or 200/220VDC. Listings show the family, type, voltage and the breaker frame the coil suits.
A part that replaces an OEM part number is listed under that number as well as under its BRAH part number, so the results count below can be higher than the number of parts.

Closing coils for Merlin Gerin Masterpact MP breakers
Overview
BE-685654CC replaces Merlin Gerin 685654CC and is rated 110/127VAC and 100/110VDC. BE-685658CC replaces Merlin Gerin 685658CC and is rated 220/250VAC and 200/220VDC. Both are 50/60Hz parts and both fit the same breaker: Masterpact, frame type MP, in frame sizes from 800A to 5000A.
Because the two parts differ only in voltage, the control voltage is the value to get right. Read it from the label on the coil being replaced or from the control wiring diagram of the breaker, and note whether the supply is AC or DC.
The OEM part number is the quickest check: if the coil in the breaker is marked 685654CC or 685658CC, search for that number and the listing for the BRAH equivalent comes up. A closing coil only closes the breaker. Remote tripping is done by a shunt trip or an undervoltage release, which are listed in their own sub-categories. BRAH also lists a ready-to-close indication switch for Masterpact breakers under circuit breaker repair parts. Closing coils carry a 2-year warranty from the date of invoice.
